Edward L. Fox III was born in Cleveland, Ohio and relocated to Petersburg, VA at an early age where he graduated from Petersburg Public School system. Pastor Fox’s call to preach led him to Jerusalem Baptist Church, Charles City, VA where God used his wisdom for sixteen years before giving him his next assignment at Lebanon Baptist Church, Prince George, VA. He led Lebanon Baptist Church for six years.

Pastor Fox served as moderator of Lebanon Virginia Baptist Association and the Prince George Fellowship of Churches as well as other ministerial positions throughout his tenure. Pastor Fox was led to Springfield Baptist Church in 2014 and was installed as Pastor in July of 2017.  Under his leadership, the church is growing spiritually, numerically, and financially.

He is married to his one and only love, Gladys Fox. Together they have seven adult children, thirteen grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Pastor Fox proclaims that we are a church teaching, training, and transforming lives with the word of God.
