Diaconate Ministry
The mission of the Diaconate Ministry is to serve as the official leadership of the church. They are ordained and set apart to assist the Pastor in the service of ministering to the body of Christ. The Diaconates are the official representatives of the church.
Hospitality Ministry
The mission of the Hospitality Ministry is to prepare for church-related functions, plan activities, and provide service when requested or as necessary. The Hospitality Ministry focuses on 1 Peter 4:9 which states, “Use hospitality one to another without grudging.”
Marriage Ministry
Media Ministry
The mission of the Media Ministry is to provide audio, video, and digital content that is worthy of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and to enhance the praise and worship experience for the whole body of Christ. We believe that faith comes by hearing the word of God and that the spoken word and song shared clearly and accurately is one of the best tools for sharing the Word of God.
Men Ministry
The mission of the Men Ministry is to further the spiritual growth and development of the men of Springfield Baptist Church and to use fellowship and service as a vehicle to become better men for Jesus Christ our Lord.
Missionary Ministry
The mission of the Missionary Ministry is to stimulate scriptural growth, increase scriptural knowledge, and promote growth in understanding God and his plan of redemption for the world; as revealed through Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit. The ministry abides by 1 Cor 3:9, which states “For we are labourers together with God.”
Parking Lot Ministry
The mission of the Parking Lot Ministry is to provide a safe and secure worship environment for our church members and guests, be aware of the church environs during services and other church activities, ensure orderly and efficient access to the church grounds.
Praise Dance Ministry
The mission of the Praise Dance Ministry is to honor and worship God by ministering and witnessing through the use of creative movement and dance. Praise Dancing is the Holy Spirit within manifested observable motion. The dancers interpret scripture, illustrates a theme, communicates a feeding and brings the Holy Spirit into motion.
Singles Ministry
The mission of the Singles Ministry is to focus on building a relationship with Christ by creating an environment where single adults will be accepted and encouraged to grow not only in their personal relationship with God but with others through fellowship and other social and spiritual activities.
Sunday School Ministry
The mission of the Sunday School Ministry is to carry out the Great Commission (Matt. 2: 19-20) to children, youth, and adults in preparation for a lifetime of Christian Worship. The fulfilling of the mission is done by reaching the needs of people for Jesus Christ and church membership, ministering to class members through Christian fellowship and educating class members with the Word of God to equip them as disciples of Christ.
Trustee Ministry
The mission of the Trustee Ministry is to serve as the group of stewards that have been appointed/elected by the church body. They are to hold in trust for the church membership that material possessions that have been accrued by the church.
Usher Ministry
The mission of the Usher Ministry is to faithfully have prayer and stand as doorkeepers every Sunday as they greet the people of God. The Usher Ministry meditates on Psalm 84:10 which states, “I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than to dwell in the tents of the wickedness.”
Women Ministry
The mission of the Women Ministry is to empower, encourage, educate, motivate, and inspire the women of God. To guide Christian women of all ages to have a stronger relationship with God and to be better witnesses for Christ.
Youth Ministry
The mission of the Children Ministry is to work as a team to fill our children’s mind with the Word of God. This will allow the children to grow to think the way God thinks, establish habits of godly living and a daily lifestyle that will be pleasing to God.
